How the stats work
The stats are the computer prediction you see next to your own call and the crowd's.
What it is
For every match, the stats give a chance for each result, written as plain percentages: for example "Burnley 46% · Draw 27% · Wolves 27%". They also compare the two teams on attack, defence and recent form.
Where it comes from
The stats come from our football data provider's model (API-Football), based on past results, goals and form. We update them every 30 minutes until kick-off. Our own model is planned.
How well does it do?
We score the stats exactly like you: right results, and a skill score from 0 to 100. The Results page shows the last 30 days, so you can see whether you, the crowd or the stats read the matches best.
What it isn't
It isn't a tip and it isn't advice. It is there to compare your own read against. Never make money or betting decisions based on anything on Rookwit.
