How Rookwit works

A free football prediction game. No betting: just your calls, scored on skill.

Your call, in three steps

1. Pick the score of a match before kick-off. You can change it until the match starts.
2. See who thinks what: you, the crowd of other fans, and the stats (a computer prediction from past games).
3. After full time your call is scored: spot on, right result or missed, plus a skill score from 0 to 100.

Back your club

Pick the club you support. Its matches come first, and you join its fans' table, ranked on skill. Every club has its own page with its next matches, its fans' table and its results.

What we never do

• Take a stake, hold money or pay winnings.
• Link to bookmakers or earn money from them.
• Sell points, or let points be swapped for prizes.
• Use countdown clocks, flashing "live" badges or "last chance" nudges.
• Share your data with gambling companies.

Bookmaker odds are hidden unless you switch them on in your account, for comparison only. Club pages never show them.

Who it's for

Football fans who enjoy reading a match and want to prove it, with their mates and their club. It is also a safe place for people who have stepped away from gambling: there is nothing to stake and nothing to win.

Is it gambling?

No. Rookwit takes no stakes and pays no winnings that depend on results, so it is a game, not a gambling service, and needs no gambling licence. We follow the GDPR (the EU's data protection law): you can delete your account and its data at any time.
